2014年3月20日-3月23日，将在芬兰的罗瓦涅米举办世界冬泳锦标赛。

《冬泳网》芬兰罗瓦涅米市消息： 应芬兰《2014世界冬泳锦标赛》组委会和芬兰罗瓦涅米市埃斯科•洛特温宁市长的邀请，由哈尔滨市冬泳协会组成的8人（其中5名冬泳队员）代表团代表中国参加于3月20日至23日的《2014世界冬泳锦标赛》活动。《中国冬泳代表团》是3月18日乘飞机离开哈尔滨市至北京，19日上午11时30分由北京飞往芬兰首都赫尔辛基市转机，于北京时间19日晚抵达北极圈内的芬兰北部罗瓦涅米市。冰雪达人——《冬泳网》哈尔滨市冬泳协会专区版主毛球，作为运动员之一将参加赛事交流活动。据毛球介绍：此次活动盛况空前，有34个国家1300余名冬泳运动员参加比赛，来自世界各地的冬泳朋友使芬兰北部的小城罗瓦涅米市非常热闹，真可谓是熙熙攘攘、摩肩接踵。中国代表团5人参加比赛的项目有：25米和50米蛙泳、自由泳和接力等。
刚才本人与远在芬兰的毛球版主联系，得知由于时差原因，他们要抓紧时间休息（睡眠），明天当地时间9时，毛球版主等前往比赛场地试水。

芬兰罗瓦涅米市与哈尔滨市是友好城市。 2014年冰雪节期间以埃斯科•洛特温宁市长为团长的罗瓦涅米市代表团，观看了哈尔滨国际冬泳邀请赛，同哈尔滨总工会、冬泳协会部分成员进行了会谈。芬兰议会主席海基•奥图先生、市议会副主席莉萨•安萨拉女士、外办主任图拉•林塔拉-格丁女士、地区开罗瓦涅米市发公司联络部经理海基•孔蒂奥萨洛先生，以及哈尔滨市总工会副主席彭利、办公室副主任孙秀伟、工人江上体育俱乐部主任 崔宏卓、哈尔滨市冬泳协会副会长张友庆、理事庾晓峰会谈时在座。
会谈前，罗瓦涅米市代表团一行观看了哈尔滨国际冬泳邀请赛部分比赛，乘坐了冰帆。

Henri Kaarma（爱沙尼亚）
Estonian renowned winter and ice swimmer who is particularly known for his long distance endurance swims（长距离耐寒游泳）. Kaarma was third in the 2012 Russian Winter Swimming Championships in Tyumen- on the incredible distance of 1650 mwith the amazing time of25 minutes 25 seconds. （卡尔玛是在2012年的秋明 俄罗斯冬季游泳锦标赛第3名， 在令人难以想象的1650m(1英里)的距离取得25分25秒的惊人成绩）Kaarma is a true swimmer of cold, asrctic waters and most of his swims have taken place in northern arcticwaters.

Anna-Carin NordinCheery by nature, Nordin is a well-known marathon and open water swimmerfrom Sweden（愉快的天性，诺丁是一个著名的马拉松和公开水域游泳运动员，来自瑞典）。

Endurance swim 450 m in arctic conditions
The most severe competition of Winter Swimming World Championships 2014 will definitely be the 450 m endurance swim. This challenge allures the toughest swimmers to combat for the World Championship gold medal. The participation requires careful and controlled training and doctor’s certificate.
This swim category is full and will for sure be one of the highlights of the event. In the attached PDF you find all endurance swimmers listed in women’s and men’s series. Likewise, the swimmers listed for other swim categories.
